I don’t know who they are, but I really like their dynamics. This red garment… I had to go back and refresh my memory – we’ve seen her at page 26 actually… I need to reread the whole archive ( wooohoooo! 😀 ). I’ll guess that it means she’s (or maybe he’s? I’m having some hard time telling them apart) Novarc. The guards in Gessick wore red garments too (although they’re not Novarc), but with these silly hats 😛 So red is some… paramilitary color here? Well my fan theories always suck, so I’ll leave it be.
Also, I’m once again amazed by the minimalist style of this arc, and the precise use of color… I really dig this style 🙂
The Novarc colors are Black and Blue. Their daily uniform is described in Meghan”s WIP Novel “A Wisp of Smoke” as being a simple blue tunic and black slacks.
Yeah, tikedi are a bit ambiguous when it comes to gender, and I haven’t had a chance to address this fellow’s yet, but he’s a he!
The story Witty Young Fox is talking about it part of my Patreon. Coincidentally, this fellow’s in some of the short stories there, too. There were tales posted during last year’s hiatus and Staefe here is in two of them. 🙂
I knew my theory would be shitty, but it came out to be shittier then I thought, hehe.
TBH, I’m not a patreon. I soon get a small time job that I can do in parallel with my studies without dying out of stress, so I might be able to have some more economic welfare. For now I pretty much live on some minor savings and a modest scholarship, so I must use these wisely.
Now when I think about it, I’m also afraid that being a patreon will get me to procrastinate more than I can afford – but it totally worth it 😛
Well until then I’m cursed to be full of crappy fan theories 😀
Shitty theories is better than none. It means your putting real thought into Meghan’s work and that means a lot a writer! Besides, I’m not able to pester Meghan nearly enough since my new house doesn’t have internet yet! >.<
